Training level
Consistent training history
Six foundational movement patterns
How this affects programming: Good uses normal exercise selection. Needs coaching favours simpler, easier-to-coach variations. Limited strongly favours low-complexity options and is flagged for coach review. Avoid removes that movement pattern from automatic programming. Sets, reps and progression still come from the client's training level and program phase.
Step 5 · Goals
Training goals
Choose the primary training goal and any secondary priorities.
Step 6 · Constraints + preferences
Limitations & preferences
Add limitations, movements to avoid, exercise preferences and relevant coaching notes.
Reported injuries & limitations
Exercise blacklist
Never program these exercises for this client.Use this for medical / pain restrictions, exercises the client hates, movements they cannot perform, or another coach-approved reason. Blacklisted exercises are excluded from automatic programming and block program approval if added manually.
Exercise preferences
Exercise preferences
Use the advanced picker only when you want precise exercise-by-exercise control.
Structured exercise preferencesPrefer more · Can do / neutral · Recommend less · Blacklist
Coaching context
These are coaching review categories, not medical diagnoses. RED options stay out of automatic programming unless deliberately overridden by the coach.
Step 7 · Program builder
Build program
The system recommends a starting point after learning the client. You can edit it normally, or use Build From Scratch when you need to hand-program every exercise.
Step 8 · Coach review
Review program
Check the schedule, exercise selection, volume and flags before assigning the program.
